About Me

My photo
I am a man who is equal parts Husband, Father, Friend, Actor, Film Maker, Author and Entrepreneur. I am an individual who seeks out the experience of life in all of its wondrous aspects and who is fascinated by the process of what I am experiencing in the moment. Always a thinker, I am fascinated by the insights into spiritual truths. I am traditionally old-fashioned and have strong Mediterranean foundations mingled with many years of traveling experience, fluent in 5 languages and constantly seeking stimulation, whether it be intellectual, spiritual, artistic or emotional. Thus far my life has been a roller coaster of events and I continue to pursue to live an extraordinary life. I take great comfort in the fact that I connect deeply with my imagination and drift away in my fantasies where I can make imaginary worlds and people come to life, and can fly high above the negative, greedy spirit and disturbing nature of this world and live in my dreams. In addition, today I take great pleasure in coaching, mentoring and empowering those who have a burning desire to make a change and succeed!

The Pyramid Issue (Part II)

WHAT IS WRONG WITH THE DESIGN OF THE PYRAMID? Absolutely Nothing!

The Pyramid is the geometric shape of the US government, business corporations, your family tree and the strongest structures known to men, The Pyramids of Giza!

I would like to address something important here. On some of my conversations with people, I've realized that some have the misconception that people at the top in network marketing make all the money. A while ago I watched a brilliant animated video by network marketing expert, "Tim Sales" which proved quite the opposite. As a matter of fact the structure in Network Marketing outlines the fact that this industry poses the fairest compensation plans.

To illustrate: In a corporation you have the CEO (Chief Executive Officer) at the top. Then you have the President. Under the president you have the Vice President/s, Middle-Management, the Supervisors, and at the bottom of the barrel you have the employees. Now we both know that the employees don’t make anything close to the CEO. Neither do the Supervisors make as much money as the Managers, nor the managers do they make as much money as the Vice Presidents, the Presidents and so on. The employee does not get the same annual bonus amount of the Manager, the Vice President, The President or the CEO. You see what I’m getting at? Another factor to consider is that in corporations the resume or seniority will usually determine your pay check most of the time. Not In Network Marketing!

What makes compensation in network marketing different and fair?

When a Sponsor brings a New Marketer into their business, that New Marketer is on his/her way to building their organization (downline).  Therefore, that new marketer can adopt the position of the CEO immediately. No resume or seniority needed. As a matter of fact, at some point and when the New Marketer has taken the time and effort to establish his or her business it is very possible that in time, he or she will generate more income then the Sponsor (CEO) who brought them on board in the first place. The new marketer unless there is a company policy on the limit, he or she can build their downline as deep and as many levels as they want. With this structure everybody wins. If the  new Marketer ends up making more money then the sponsor who sponsored them, the sponsor will benefit. More power to them because, everybody benefits. The most productive worker in the structure makes the most money. No position or title will put a stop to that. Now isn’t that fair? The secret to this kind of success boils down to a few ingredients. Learn, Apply, take Action, and THRIVE! The key is to share everything that you know with your new marketer. This concept seems crazy in this day and age of business. People hide what they know in fear that one would steal their ideas, run with them and they thrive instead. Not in network Marketing. You teach others to be leaders. This is truly a powerful investment. Your new leaders will leverage your time and now, you are on your way to making fortunes.

Educate yourself about the business. Learn from the best. The truth is, when you learn how to run your business in Network Marketing the right way … there is nothing like it!

I will close this post with a quote from an ancient philosopher, LAU- TZU : “Give a man a fish and he’ll eat for a day. Teach a man how to fish and he’ll eat for a lifetime”

The Pyramid Issue - ( Part I )

What defines a true pyramid scheme?

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission website defines a pyramid scheme as a business where: “participants attempt to make money solely by recruiting new participants into the program. The hallmark of these schemes is the promise of sky-high returns in a short period of time for doing nothing other than handing over your money and getting others to do the same.” This business model is not only unsustainable, it is also illegal in many countries.

The very first thing to consider when evaluating any business opportunity is the company’s reputation. Do some front-end research to determine what the overall nature of the company is. Are there success stories being posted on web-sites that are not affiliated with the company itself? Are their online review sites that have something to say about the company? Ripoffs are pretty difficult to cover up, especially if the company is web-based.

Before I check into a company, any company that is, I personally like to conduct a background check with the "Better Business Bureau" (BBB) online. The BBB shows the complaints that have been filed about any company one wishes to search.

What to keep in mind.

The allure of network marketing opportunities are the success stories, (some of which are true) but realistically, most people will be fortunate if they earn an insignificant, or only part-time equivalent income. Stats have it that 95% of people who join a Network Marketing company quit within 45 days. Why? One reason; They are sold to the idea that this is a “get rich quick” type business when in reality, to be successful in this business or any other, takes learning, work, at least some failure, and endurance. Second; People don’t get educated about the business and quit too soon for lack of endurance or they ran out of money. (see “A Few Things You Need To Know Before Joining Any MLM or Network Marketing Opportunity” on this blog). To be continued ...

A Few Things You Need To Know Before Joining Any MLM or Network Marketing Opportunity:

(1) You completely grasp the meaning that what you are getting into is a business and like any real business our business requires an investment. The initial fee at sign-up is not enough. There is an overhead. Small or large is up to you. Calculate the expanse before you go in. Ask yourself, how will you fund your marketing, buy the necessary tools, pay for any monthly CV’s and fees that your company may require, and still pay your bills? You can start small and work on a budget, its okay. Learn the ropes, give your business some legs and you will be on the right track. Many entrepreneurs who started small in this business have done the right things, stuck it through the ups and downs and in time done very well for themselves.

(2) How will you be a value to others? You will not be successful if you are an island. You would need to be willing to share and impart your knowledge to others, especially those on your team. Help them be successful, even to be better then you. Their success is your success. Everybody wins!

(3) Have a strong objective – A GOAL!. Constantly remind yourself of your ultimate GOAL and WHY you got involved in the business in the first place. Educate yourself about the business. Be willing to share and give for free. Again, be of value to others and be very willing to help people. Do NOT give up! You don’t open a coffee shop and close after 60 days because you haven’t sold enough coffees yet. Be patient! This business like any other will take time.

Make Sure The Opportunity You Are Considering Have These Five Points In Place:

1.  Impeccable and Solid Leadership at the Top.
2. Solid Financial Backing
3. Products that People will continue to buy even when they don’t join your organization.
4.  A Valuable Team & Outstanding Training System.
5. Rock Solid Compensation Plan that is right for YOU!

Entrepreneur – Control Your Life

Remember when you used to think of all the things you wanted to do? Then, that was replaced with all the things you have to do. Go to work, pick up the kids, pay the bills, make the dinner, call the parents, etc. etc. Before long, it feels like your life isn’t one of choice, but one of obligation. But…what if you could do all the things you want to while still having plenty of time to do the things you have to? Could it be possible? Yes. It is. Thousands of people are experiencing this level of freedom and you can too. It’s called being an ENTREPRENEUR.

Forbes, Kiyosaki and Trump on Our Business

Check this out:

79,000,000 (yes million) Americans plan to start their OWN businesses in the next 3 years (Forbes Magazine). The great majority will do it through a Network Marketing / Direct Sales model.

In fact, both Donald Trump and Robert Kiyosaki recommend the Network Marketing industry in their latest book: "Why We Want You to Be Rich."

Trump and Kiyosaki BOTH say that if they had to do it all over again, they would build their fortunes in THIS industry. Warren Buffet also bought a half dozen or so Network Marketing companies in the last few years...

In fact, in Trump and Kiyosaki's book "Why We Want You To Be Rich," they dedicate an ENTIRE chapter to it! (chapter 25). This is the only business model they wrote a WHOLE chapter on.

Why The Rich Don't Work For Money

This is probably the most important step to start understanding how to create wealth in your life.

Robert Kiyosaki (Rich Dad, Poor Dad) explains that there is a trap most people fall into that is fueled by fear and greed. It is the trap of trading your life for money and almost everyone has their price.

Once the right price is offered, by a company or job, the snare is set. The fear of not having money to buy the necessities in life is the emotion that causes people to seek out jobs.

It is the short-term satisfaction of finally getting a "paycheck" and starting to think of all the things you can buy with it that traps a person. The fear of not having this "paycheck" causes a person to continue waking up early and wasting their life away at a job they probably don't even like. And all it takes to keep them in the trap is a measly little raise each year that probably doesn't change anything in their life.

So, working hard for money will never change your life. A job is actually a short-term solution to a life-long problem. It only solves the problem for the time being because as soon as you stop working the money stops and the problem persists.
